In recent In the spring of 2019, Copper Mountain Resort announced a $100 million multi-year transformation that will benefit homeowners and guests for years to come. For the 2019-2020 ski season, Copper will construct a new Tucker Mountain chairlift. The new 3-person lift will provide seven-day-a-week lift-serviced access to 273 acres of expert terrain on Tucker Mountain that was previously only accessible by snowcat or hiking. Also for the 2019-2020 ski season, Copper will open a new Woodward Peace Park to provide all guests with the opportunity to ski and snowboard an exciting new freestyle terrain park designed in conjunction with pro snowboarder, Danny Davis. And, for the 2020-2021 season, Copper will replace its mid-mountain lodge, Solitude Station. The new 25,000 square foot lodge will be accessible from American Eagle lift and will feature a completely reimagined experience with a full-service casual restaurant, full-service bar and lounge, private dining area, cafeteria options and 180-degree views of the Gore and Ten Mile Ranges.
