Home Values Rise for First Time in Five Years
In a July 24 article, CNN Money reported that home values across the nation rose to a median $149,300 during the second quarter of 2012, which represents the first annual increase since 2007. The article also noted that second quarter home prices were up 2.1% from the first quarter of 2012.
The article above presents some additional good news for the national real estate market. While the June 2012 market analysis included some mixed statistics, it’s encouraging to see positive results on a multi-month basis for 2012.
