Mountain Region Real Estate Market Statistics – Q1 2013

The Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) recently released its quarterly Residential Housing Report for the Mountain Region. The Report provided real estate market analysis for the first three months of 2013. The Colorado Mountain Region includes Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Jackson, Pitkin, Routt, San Miguel and Summit counties.

In looking at the first quarter of 2013 in the Mountain Region, the market overview included the following statistics:

  • New Listings decreased 12.6 percent to 941
  • Pending Sales were down 1.5 percent to 579
  • Inventory levels were at 3,033 units
  • The Median Sales Price increased 20.3 percent to $428,750
  • The average number of Days on Market was down 15.6 percent to 184 days
  • The number of Months Supply of Inventory was at 15.0 months
