Summit Sky Ranch is a newly planned neighborhood led by an experienced and respected development team. Summit Sky Ranch is situated on a 416-acre parcel about 2 miles north of Silverthorne on Highway 9. Construction started within Summit Sky Ranch in 2015. As of March 2017, roughly 82 single family homes have already been sold out of 240 that are eventually planned.

Ownership at Summit Sky Ranch features an impressive array of amenities. The Apsen Center will serve as the private community center for the subdivision with a pool and gathering spaces for families to enjoy spending time together. Summit Sky Ranch also features a Boat House with an adjacent beach and private lake where residents can use paddle boats or stand up paddle boards. In addition, Summit Sky Ranch is also planning a 20-acre park at its entrance that will be open to the public. While activities within the public park are still in the planning stages, it is expected to serve as a new trailhead for access to the Gore Range. The public park at Summit Sky Ranch will actually be about four times the size of the existing Rainbow Park next to the Rec Center in Silverthorne.

Other amenities of Summit Sky Ranch include private fishing access to the gold medal waters of the nearby Blue River. Summit Sky Ranch has also been planned as a Dark Sky neignborhood that employs shielded lighting to preserve superb views of the night sky. Following that design theme, the neighborhood will include an Obervatory, complete with a 20-inch refractor telescope for professional and student astronomers. The neighborhood plans to stream a live view from the telescope to the Aspen Center.
